3 Surefire Methods to Reduce Stomach Fat After Pregnancy

Having a baby is one of the most joyous events of a mother's life, but now you may be ready to get rid of the extra stomach fat gained during pregnancy. There are many fad diet plans out there but nothing works as well as healthy eating and physical activity. However, there is a smart way to eat and exercise to burn the most fat and reduce stomach fat effectively. Personally, I like to keep health simple. Over complicating the way we eat and workout can cause frustration and make us want to give up too quickly. The following methods should make burning fat easy and fun. You will also be surprised at how much time can be saved in the process.
Method #1 - Eating: You may already understand how crucial our diet is in terms of weight loss. If you eat the wrong foods, it will take longer to shed pounds. The simple way to eat and not worry about counting calories and weighing food is to remove all processed foods from your diet. Keep this saying in mind: "if man made it, don't eat it!" What this really means is to eat food in its most natural state. Your food shouldn't contain refined sugar and ingredients you cannot pronounce. Stick to lean meats, seafood, fresh vegetables, fruit, nuts, and seeds. Keep your eating basic and you won't stress over whether you are overeating. Do this 80% of the time and it will become an easy healthy lifestyle change.
Method #2 - Burn Fat: Diet will determine a majority of your weight loss but exercise can help burn more fat and it is good for the body overall. The key to fat burn is doing the right exercises. Don't overdo it on cardio. Many women enjoy cardio moreso then lifting weights, yet building muscle is what burns more fat. Too much cardio can actually cause our bodies to take energy from our muscles. You will not become bulky or over muscular by lifting weights. Lfit them for resistance. You can even use your own body weight as resistance. Calisthenics such as push-ups, lunges, squats, dips, and pull-ups are great body weight exercises that burn fat. Also look into full-body moves such as burpees.
Method #3 - Burn Even More Fat: You can turn your body into a fat burning machine by keeping your workouts short but intense. This can be done by performing intervals (better known as circuit training.) These workouts combine body weight with free weights for intense workouts that can be done in 30 to 45 minutes. Interval routines burn fat much more effectively than cardio alone and there are so many exercises you can mix and match, your workouts will never be dull.
Before starting any new method of eating or exercise, it is a good idea to get a complete physical from your doctor and ask if specific ways of eating and working out are safe for you. The tips above are great fat burners and may help you on your way to losing the post pregnancy weight from your stomach and overall in general.
